当院では、日本国内で有効な公的医療保険に加入されていない外国人患者さんの診療費用について、自由診療として、診療報酬点数1点につき14円で算定し、ご請求させていただいております。

日本の保険医療制度では、診察、検査、処置、手術、入院料などの医療行為ごとに「診療報酬点数」が定められており、通常は1点10円として計算された医療費について、患者さんが加入されている公的医療保険の種類に応じた自己負担分をお支払いいただく仕組みとなっています。

一方、日本国内の公的医療保険に加入されていない方については、自由診療として医療機関ごとに診療費用を定めることになります。

また、外国人患者さんの診療では、通訳、翻訳、海外保険会社等との連絡調整、支払い方法の確認など、通常の診療に加えて追加的な対応が必要となる場合があります。

当院では、すべての患者さんに安心・安全な医療を継続して提供するため、上記の診療費用を設定しております。何卒ご理解とご協力をお願いいたします。

Medical Fees for Foreign Patient

At this hospital, medical fees for foreign patients who are not enrolled in a valid public health insurance system in Japan are calculated and billed as self-pay medical care at a rate of 14 yen per medical fee point.

Under Japan's health insurance system, "medical fee points" are assigned to each medical service, such as consultations, examinations, procedures, surgeries, and hospitalization fees. 
In general, medical fees are calculated at a rate of 10 yen per point, and patients enrolled in public health insurance pay the portion of the medical fees according to the type of public health insurance they have.

On the other hand, patients who are not enrolled in Japan's public health insurance system are treated as self-pay patients, and each medical institution determines its own medical fees for such care.

In addition, medical care for foreign patients may require additional support beyond ordinary medical services, such as interpretation, translation, coordination with overseas insurance companies, and confirmation of payment methods.
